SAVE SSESE ISLANDS
As we already know, climate change is a serious threat to our livelihoods and the only role we can play as good citizens of the world is to protect our environment! In spite of severe droughts and famine killing people in some parts of Uganda; our reckless government with its incompetent and land grabing foreigners are now planning to destroy 10,000 hactares of natural forest in Lake Victoria for their own benefit! Already, Ssese Islands have been encroached and the ecosystem destroyed by Ugandan Mafia leadership. These Islands MUST be protected in order to preserve Lake Victoria which is drying up, save the lives of its inhabitants, wildlife, birds and lives of the people in the region. If well preserved, these Islands can generate incomes and improve the welfare of Ugandans through tourism rather than planting palm oil of which the revenues go to the pockets of so called foreign investors...
