What a beautiful year in travel it’s been, God is good! I SAFELY flew more than 35,000 miles, across 3 continents and ate myself into a few food comas.

Some of my trip highlights include:

👑 Visiting the Paint Mines in Denver

👑 Eating lunch as the fish swam around me in Belize 🇧🇿

👑Searching for blue iguanas in Aruba 🇦🇼

👑Making my own lipstick in Charlotte

👑 ‘Playing’ with a monkey and exploring Grand Etang and Annandale Falls in Grenada 🇬🇩

I’ll never take for granted the ease the US passport grants me AND God’s grace 🫶🏽

More than 15 years ago I started a vacation account and had money automatically transferred to it with every paycheck. Because travel is an investment, I still have this account and I continue to make monthly contributions to it essentially like I treat any other monthly bill.

When I started Travel Like A Queen 5 years ago I wanted to see women from varying walks of life explore the world together. From our 1st group trip in Charleston, SC to our most recent in Hamilton, Bermuda 🇧🇲 it’s been a joy to see women meet on our trips, yet maintain relationships outside of the travel bubble 🫧.

While I LOVE hosting trips, I equally enjoy planning trips for couples and families. I personally don’t think there’s a dollar amount one can attribute to creating memories with the ones they love and cherish, so my vote will always be “book the trip!”

I’m not everyone’s cup of tea 🫖, I’m actually coffee ☕️. With that being said, thank you to all my clients who drink the Travel Like A Queen coffee. I appreciate you allowing me to play a small role in your vacation(s), it means the world to me.

That’s me! I’m the person that loves 99% of what it takes to travel: Flight check ins the night before travel, early airport arrivals (people watching intrigues me), walking down the jet bridge, checking for my passport 5011 times (I can’t be the only one), calculating how far I’ll be from my arrival gate to customs/immigrations, and FINALLY, embracing the local culture of whatever country God blessed me to be in.
What I just described is what I consider, passive travel. It’s the benefit of enjoying the fruits of active travel planning: best flight routes, hotel searches, restaurants etc. etc. etc. and more etc. As much work as it is, I LOVE it to my core. God allows me to have PASSION for what most people find mundane (I really love that for me).
If you want to just show up for vacation but not have the task of planning details and logistics (some of which I just described), I’m your person and Travel Like a Queen is accepting new clients 💕.

I'll never be tired of new experiences.

Abu Dhabi, just a short 1 and 15 minute drive/ride from Dubai.
It's definitely worth the visit in my opinion to see the Grand Mosque.

🕌 Pro tips:
-It's free, but you have to get your ticket online before entry
-Wear/bring your own abaya to save time/money or you can rent one on site
-Head (ladies only), arms, wrist, knees and ankles are required to be covered (you don't have to wear traditional clothing as long as you're covered properly with loose clothing).
-Go watch the sunset, it's breathtaking
