The Collegiate Council's purpose is to inform future engineers about the industry, ASME's Petroleum Division, and careers available to Mechanical Engineers in the petroleum industry. Selected ASME Student Members are expected to attend two meetings (all expenses paid) during the academic school year. You go on tours of drill sites, processing plants, and other petroleum related industrial faciliti

During the first meeting, you and the other council members will take the project and further define the goals, expected outcomes, roles and deadlines. The deliverables are expected to be completely finished by the Council's second meeting. To be selected for the Council is an honor and a responsibility.
