Looking for a new South African adventure? We are sure one of these adventures may inspire you to get outside your office and into fresh air! 🍃
Our new magazine is finally here - 144 pages!
THE BEST 100 ADVENTURES IN SOUTH AFRICA
Welcome to the 17th issue of Dirty Boots and the 144 pages of pure adventure that you will find between these covers. After years of producing Dirty Boots as a pocket-sized DL booklet for the travel industry, it is time for a change. The new-look Dirty Boots not only focuses on curated ‘Best Adventures in South Africa’ but also includes interesting articles on adventure activities in our region.
The past three years, which were very challenging for our industry, have separated the great adventure operators from average offerings. Adventure companies with exceptional products and well-managed operations remain successful after attracting a new local market segment. Returning international clients will add further growth to their businesses.
The new bigger A4 size of Dirty Boots has given us the opportunity to supply you with way more information on each activity, including additional pictures and text. Also, look out for the wheelchair icon that indicates wheelchair-friendly activities. You will also find, just above the icons, that inclusions and exclusions - such as age and size - are highlighted.
Every year, I am amazed that newly invented activities continue to be added to our ever-growing listing of commercial adventures. I stopped counting the number of different activities years ago, but I estimate that we must now offer over 150 options in South Africa.
This variety ensures that there is something to suit every personality and preference. One of the reasons that South Africa has great diversity in activities available is because our country is the perfect playground. Just let your mind wander from the east coast to the west coast, then from the Kalahari Desert in the North to Cape Agulhas in the South. The land is vast and the terrain varies significantly so that each geographic region offers opportunities for new, different, and exciting adventures. Adventure activities remain the best way to experience our magnificent country and culture.
Take your time paging through this publication to enjoy the images and detailed information. Then, pick up your tablet or phone and navigate to our website (www.dirtyboots.co.za) to book the activity that catches your eye.
We wish you very Dirty Boots in this year ahead.
