For anyone who lives on or has recently visited the north coast of Kenya, you will know that the area has been hard hit by negative press, crippling travel warnings and almost no tourist activity. It does not take long for all of this to filter down the food chain. From hotel owner to domestic gardener, the effects are indiscriminate. Its time to take back our town and celebrate everything it has
to offer. Malindi is home to some really talented people, who offer both residents and tourists alfresco dining, 5 star resort accommodation, fresh seafood, big 5 game drives, world-class deep sea fishing, football on the beach…and the list goes on. You can buy anything from mobile phones to Croc shoes, and everything in between. What this initiative hopes to achieve is that from 1st May 2015 for 365 days (and beyond) we post, tweet or share only positive information about Malindi. We welcome all input, including from you out there as well…don’t be shy. Malindi365, is the catch phrase to remember and you’ll find us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Tumblr
Please get involved and share in this journey with us. ACT NOW and be the positive change you want to see happen…
Note: We don’t want any posts of a negative nature, or any solicitation posts and will be deleting that and any other content we regard as in appropriate.
