Our FIRST offering of "Medicinal Plants of the Maritime Forest" is TOMORROW! 🕙

On January 14th, Volunteer Denise will teach us about the unique properties and historic uses of plants 🌿 found along our Coastal Hammock Trail. The walk departs from the visitor center at 10:00 AM and will return at approximately 11:30 AM. 🌴

This event is free to the public and no sign-up is required. Water and closed-toed shoes are strongly encouraged. While we will be on the trail for the whole hour and a half, we will be stopping to talk about plants along the way and there are places to sit throughout.

We look forward to seeing you in the park! 🌱

We conserve land — and it's all backed by science. 🌱

Every piece of land we protect plays a vital role in maintaining a healthy, balanced environment. Whether it's a forest, wetland, or family farm, these natural spaces are crucial for:
💧 Clean air and water
🌍 Absorbing carbon to help fight climate change
🌾 Supporting plants and animals that depend on them

Land conservation ensures that nature can continue to do its job —keeping Florida healthy and resilient for future generations 💚
