“This hike is located in the Puez-Geisler National Park. It takes about 1.5 hours, easy uphill path, just follow directions from the parking lot. If you get there during lunchtime, make sure you try their kaiserschmarrn! 🥰 I recommend staying until sunset to see the peaks light up. It’s a spectacular view!” -

This hike was on our Mapify Bucket List for a very long time - here is why… 👇🏼😯

“Even tough this hike is not one of the well known hikes in Switzerland, it still offers some of the most amazing views over the alps and especially the Alvier Range! 🏔

It’s about a 2h hike taking you up to Alvier hut, with some really cool exposed parts and an elevation of 700 m. We totally recommend you staying in the hut overnight, from which you‘ll be able to see the Alvier Range, Walensee and even Pizol!” 🥳

“Hardly have I seen beaches as beautiful and tropical in the Mediterranean as in Corsica… 😧

Palombaggia beach for sure had these
cristal clear and sapphire blue waters that you can just indulge in forever. 🌸

Pro tip: If you want to escape the crowd get a kayak and explore the coastline... you can find hidden creeks to enjoy all by yourself pretty easily. 🤫👌🏻

“Agriturismo Baccoleno is one of those places straight out of a fairy tale.
I recommend visiting in late June/early July to capture this beautiful view surrounded by golden wheat fields. It might get a bit crowded during sunset, however that’s the best moment to enjoy the view.” - Mapify Ambassador .stis

Our Story

This is for the globetrotters. For everyone who loves travel and explores the world, discovering new perspectives. In 2017 we, five software engineers and a filmmaker and photographer set out to develop a platform for you to experience travel differently. We believe travel planning should be as enjoyable as the journey itself, simple and convenient while paying attention to uniqueness.

At the same time, Mapify is about how you share what you have already experienced. We have handcrafted a design enabling you to visualize journeys online like you have not been able to before and share these stories with the people you care about.
