Melvin has also led on rat control on the Peaks 🐀 Rats can kill tree ferns by burrowing into them, and they can also contribute to the spread of pathogens causing tree disease‼️ Thus, Melvin’s work to control rats is a very important element in the protection of cloud forest habitat 🌳🛡️
