Disney Parks to Pilot New Option Called Lightning Lane Premier Pass

Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be offered in very limited quantities and will give guests one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane entrance in the theme park they are visiting that day. This includes attractions included in both Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass, but with Lightning Lane Premier Pass, guests do not need to select an experience time.

Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be a premium offering, and prices will vary based on the date and theme park guests are visiting.

At Walt Disney World, when Lightning Lane Premier Pass launches, it will be available to guests staying at Disney Deluxe or Deluxe Villa Resorts and may be purchased up to seven days in advance of their stay. It will only be valid for use in one park of the guest’s choice per day. The first date it will be available is October 30, 2024.

TSA PRECHECK POP-UP RETURNS TO WESTCHESTER COUNTY AIRPORT AUGUST 5-9

A TSA PreCheck enrollment event will take place at Westchester County Airport from August 5 to 9.

TSA PreCheck is a valuable travel option that expedites a traveler’s airport security checkpoint screening process. TSA PreCheck allows travelers to leave on their shoes, light outerwear and belt, keep their laptop in its case and their 3-1-1 compliant liquids/gels bag in a carry-on, in TSA airport checkpoint screening lanes. More than 200 airports participate in TSA PreCheck nationwide and approximately 100 airlines participate in the program.

Travelers are advised to make an appointment online and complete their enrollment in-person or as a walk-in. The TSA Enrollment Center is in the airport’s 3rd floor observation lounge. The center will be open from Monday, August 5 through Friday, August 9, from 9 a.m. to noon and afternoons from 1 to 5 p.m.

After completing enrollment, successful applicants will receive a Known Traveler Number (KTN) via U.S. mail within about 10 days that is valid for five years.
