Thank to all who follow this page and keep up with goings-on with kandqtravel .com. Side note-the 10 freeway around Alameda Ave is closed. This covers about 3/4 mile stretch from Alameda to about Santa Fe Ave you have to avoid. Best alternative (east to west), get off on Grand Ave, then street it to go north to 6th Street to get to Mission, Santa Fe, or the other entrances to the 5, 10, and 60’s. Also look for Soto coming around to the north when driving to access those East LA locations.

I was just in Vegas a few days ago and the MGM corporate is going through it with this data breach. Simply put, this breach will affect them until the end of year in my opinion. It’s affecting the gaming and the operative systems of the casinos they run and resorts they market and give rooms for. Things to do-still use your MyRewards promos (except for free slot plays), no new players club cards or changes to existing cards will be taken; if you want, still gamble (they’ll have runners to pay off winnings) and use cash when you can on properties.

My review of two sites meant to help travelers-hellovacay.com is a new platform operated by Priceline to offer deeper discounted hotel rates and airport lounge day passes to travelers. Cost of their lounge product is $29 per year. I suggest only business travelers get this because it ONLY works if a flight has over 1 hour UNSCHEDULED delays.

ResortPass.com works with different hoteliers to offer pool and spa day passes, chair, and cabana rental without booking full stays. No true discounts but it is convenient if you live in a city with that sort of amenity. Free to join and book with their app. Best to check with the hotel you book the pass with through the app to insure availability and access. I heard sometimes tough to get refunds or customer service. If you’re into that sort of thing, however, it sound good enough.
