A Review of one my clients trip to Disney worlds Animal Kingdom Resort:

Best parts… the room view, the early park entry, late park stay, Star Wars land, the people, the food was great. Prepaying for the genie plus was a huge plus, otherwise we would have had to wait until midnight before the day of each trip to each park to purchase. Then once we figured out the scheduling it was easy to book.

Stuff to look out for: the lightning lane isn’t hard once you understand it, but once you do it’s pretty pricy and worth it. $90 for the 3 days plus the two rides they offer for the individual lightning lanes (about $15 max each, but worth paying since the lines were extremely long).

Dining: can be done 60 days in advance PLUS your length of stay, up to a week I think, so we could have reserved 65 days in advance. And booking those are a must at the hotels otherwise you’ll never get breakfast. Breakfast was great at the hotel, but pricey and it interfered with us getting to the park on time so we just ate on the go from the little hotel shops.

Transportation was awesome.
But, I forgot to give them the info for the return trip, so it could have become a hassle if it weren’t for the great front desk folks. I was on hold for almost an hour, and then the lady was able to book it for us so we could hang up the phone.

I highly suggest going a day early like we did to get acquainted to the surroundings and the bus system. Also ask where everything is before you head to the park, otherwise it would be super hectic!

Overall we loved it and wish we’re still there. Hardly any time for the pool, hot tub, etc., because we spent most of our time at the park.
