Have you spotted this canoe while visiting Blue Spring State Park early in the morning? 🛶 These are the lead researchers who help complete the Manatee counts each morning!

✅ Save the Manatee Club completes their own counts from the water while also collecting scientific data and identifying individual manatees. The official Blue Spring State Park counts are done similarly, however the rangers will count above the water from the boardwalk.

💡Did you know that you can adopt a Blue Spring Manatee from Save the Manatee Club? Each morning while the counts are completed, SMC will also share updates about which adoptees are in the spring each morning!
