Newsflash: No one does something perfectly the first time (unless its beginners luck 😉 then it's usually downhill from there 😆).

In order to achieve anything in life you have to be willing to fail. B/c when you are out there on the cutting edge of your comfort zone, doing something new, you don't know all the rules yet. You don't know what success feels like, b/c you have not been here before.

Failure is necessary, it is a good thing, b/c it shows you what NOT to do next time. You are gaining experience (unlike those sitting on the sideline too afraid to even try) and with experience comes knowledge and eventually success. 👊

So do NOT be afraid to fail. In fact be EXCITED about it. B/c you are moving closer and closer to that which you want. 💖

Now go DO IT! 💫💪🔥

💖 3 Ways to Exude Confidence (this applies on and off the dance floor) 💖

① All about your body language! Put your chin up, stand tall and avoid fideting, as your body language is the very first thing people notice about you. By practicing good posture, you will not only look more confident but you will start to naturally feel more confident.

② Look people in the eye.
Direct eye contact lets people know you’re focused and care. When it comes to eye contact, you want to find a nice, natural balance (not look away too much and not staring for too long). When done right, eye contact exudes confidence, friendliness and empathy.

③ Dress the part
Clothes have always been a way of expressing who we are, so there's no surprise that what you wear can directly affect your confidence level. If you wear dirty unkept clothes, you're going to feel more in the dumps. On the flip side, if you wear clothes that you know you look good in, you will appear more confident and bold. But don't just stop at the clothes, wash your face, style your hair and watch your confidence blossom!

Huge disbelief and sadness to hear that one of our fabulous teachers and choreographers passed away this week 😭

Sean taught the beautiful dancers from and just two weeks ago. 💃

Sean was an incredible dancer and choreographer who had performed with celebrities, at the Grammys, with the Rockettes, on numerous TV shows and theatre productions.

We are so incredibly grateful to have had the pleasure of working with Sean over the last 8 years and our hearts 💞 and prayers go out to his family at this incredibly sad time.

Thank you Sean 🙏 for everything you gave the global dance community. You are going to be so truly missed 🕺🏼🥰💝
