The Nā Pali Coast is one of the most stunning and rugged areas in the world, located on the north shore of the Hawaiian island of Kauai. It’s famous for its dramatic, emerald-green cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and pristine beaches. "Nā Pali" means "the cliffs" in Hawaiian, and the coast certainly lives up to its name with steep, towering ridges that rise up to 4,000 feet above the ocean.

This area is largely inaccessible by car, which adds to its remote beauty and preserves its natural state. The only ways to explore it are by boat, foot, or helicopter.

✈️✈️GET A PASSPORT…. I’LL KEEP TELLING YOU!!

FYI: A Real ID in the United States just allows for the bypass for a passport. It is only good for domestic flights within the United States and holds no weight outside of the issuing country. If one does not have a Real ID, they would have to use a passport, even for a domestic flight and can still fly.

*Deadline to Obtain a Real ID is May 7, 2025
if you don’t have a Passport The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced a final rule that provided a framework for the federal agency's phased enforcement of REAL ID requirements.
Federal agencies, including the TSA, will begin REAL ID enforcement on the deadline, which is May 7, 2025. Starting that day, only state-issued driver’s licenses and identification cards that meet the security requirements established by the REAL ID Act will be permitted for official purposes, including boarding commercial aircraft.

The United States government said the final rule provides the necessary flexibility for federal agencies to begin enforcement in a “manner that takes into account security, operational risk and public impact.”
“Congress passed the REAL ID Act in 2005 to enhance security standards for identification, directly in response to the security vulnerabilities highlighted by the 9/11 attacks,” said TSA Administrator David Pekoske.

“Identity verification is foundational to security. I urge those who use a driver’s license or state-issued identity card as their primary form of identification to access federal facilities or board commercial passenger aircraft, to ensure these credentials are REAL ID-compliant,” Pekoske continued. “We are committed to engaging with the public, licensing jurisdictions and states to facilitate a smooth transition to REAL ID enforcement beginning May 7, 2025, which this rule supports.”
To help travelers with the change, the TSA and other agencies will use a phased enforcement approach that will be explained in detail on government websites. All states are currently issuing REAL ID-compliant driver’s licenses and identification cards.
The TSA continues to urge travelers to obtain a REAL ID-compliant state-issued driver’s license, state-issued identification card or another form of acceptable ID before May 7 to avoid delays at airport security checkpoints.

Travel Agents Rock, please read below and be educated:

I think a lot of people misunderstand what travel agents do. Yes, they quote and book vacations. Yes, they make personalized itineraries and plans for you. Yes, this costs you NOTHING extra over booking it yourself.

What they don't do is get paid if you don't book with them. They are not paid an hourly wage. They are only compensated on trips they book, and only after you return home from traveling usually by the partnering hotels, destinations, or ships. So that Mexico vacation, cruise, all-inclusive resort stay, etc. that you book on your own - they could have booked it for the same price or sometimes cheaper but you would have helped them build their business. AT NO COST TO YOU. Booking with a travel agent is a win-win! We have learned since COVID things come up, pre travel and during travel support is more important than ever in an ever changing landscape.

In a blurred travel world where a professional travel agent has relationships and knowledge you can’t just “research” on your own or influencers who are “compensated” for their promotions while a professional agent will pair you with a destination or brand to fit your custom needs. Don’t take chances instead have the agent take control for you.

Memories are an investment, make them count!

The cost of their services is already included in the cost you pay, whether you use an agent or not. Essentially you are paying for a service you are not receiving.

You want to travel with the peace of mind of a professional agent with industry relationships to be there for support because we have all seen things don’t always go perfect”
