This one is for you Chuck Billy! 💕🙏

Someone wise once said that in life you truly love maybe 4-5 people closest to you along with hundreds of dogs online that you have never met in person. Well, a couple of days ago, the world lost one of the most remarkable dogs we have ever had online - Chuck Billy of Maine Golden!

For us Chuck Billy, his little brother Asa, and their whole extended family, have been so much more than just dogs online. They have been such great friends, especially throughout our painful year of 2023, when we lost our beloved wee-Stirling in March, Rock Star Finn in October and then our legendary Angel-Guide Sawyer in November.

So, yesterday after hearing the news, we were absolutely heartbroken about CB's passing. We can only imagine how hard it must be for the Maine Golden family, and we are sending all of our love and strength to them. We know that there are no words that can ease that pain and that heartache is something that will always remain.

If you are not familiar with Chuck Billy and Asa, you need to go find them on social media (Twitter, Bluesky and Facebook as Maine Golden) and their website www.livingwithagolden.com

If you are familiar with CB and Asa, you of course would know that CB was a renowned dog ufologist and Asa is an absolute legend of a Rock Star, and that is why this scene made me think of those two boys yesterday.

Yesterday, Walter and I were walking teary-eyed across St. Cuthbert's Graveyard here in Edinburgh while mourning the passing of Chuck Billy. That is when we came across this broken down angel. Naturally, the Nazareth song started playing in my head and my first thought was - I bet Asa would like this song! On closer inspection the four headed angel stone carving is topped with a strange spherical cap...dare I say UFO-like top! So, obviously, my first thought was - I wish Chuck Billy was here to inspect it!!

Needless to say, I needed a moment and some tissues before Walter and I continued our walk. So, for the beloved Chuck Billy, we want to wish you a great adventure across the rainbow bridge and we hope that our boys were there to meet you. And, hey, maybe you guys can solve the curious case of Edinburgh's broken down angel UFO.

As for you, Asa - you keep on rocking for years to come!🤘🎸 Finally, to the Maine Golden family we send our most sincerest condolences and all of our love. Please, know that our wee family here in Scotland will always be here to support you in anyway that we can.
