A big turnout for our Christmas Light’s Switch On + Late Night Christmas Shopping event! ✨❄️

Thank you to all the local businesses that stayed open this evening, and thank you to all that came out to celebrate & spread the festive spirits throughout town.

Alongside Berwick-upon-Tweed Town Council for organising the fabulous event and Berwick Chamber of Trade for arranging an evening of shopping! 🛍️

Berwick Rugby Football Club Hosts Christmas Charity Tractor Run 🚜✨
Berwick RFC is inviting the community to join in the festive spirit at their annual Christmas Charity Tractor Run, taking place on Sunday, 15th December at 5pm.

This exciting event will feature a parade of beautifully decorated tractors lighting up the streets to celebrate the holiday season and raise funds for a vital cause.

👉 Tractors will begin arriving at Berwick Rugby Club at 4pm, with the parade starting at 5pm.
A £20 entry fee will be charged for each tractor, and a special prize will be awarded for the Best Decorated Tractor.
After the event, attendees can enjoy hot food served at the club.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Great North Air Ambulance Service, which provides life-saving support to communities in need. Donations from spectators and participants will be greatly appreciated.

The tractor parade will travel through Berwick Town, passing notable areas such as Morrisons Roundabout, East Ord, Etal, Belford, and more before returning to the rugby club. Spectators can line the route to watch the festive convoy pass by.

Whether participating in the parade or simply watching from the side-lines, everyone is welcome.

‼️This year’s Ford & Etal Christmas Market has unfortunately been cancelled due to worsening weather conditions and the arrival of Storm Bert this weekend. The safety of visitors and stallholders is the top priority, leading to this difficult decision.

While it’s disappointing news, especially with so much fun planned, the organisers have expressed their sincere apologies. Keep an eye out for updates about next year’s market!

It is with great regret we have taken the decision to cancel this year's Ford & Etal Christmas Market. The weather forecast for this coming weekend has deteriorated and we have a named storm (Storm Bert) coming. The safety of our visitors and stallholders is of primary importance.
We are very sorry to disappoint everyone as we had so much fun planned.
Please accept our sincere apologies and look out for information on next year's market.
