Heads Up Las Casas will bring together Ultimate Frisbee participants around the country at the renowned heritage park Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in the historical province of Bataan.

To further promote and raise the level of awareness on Ultimate Frisbee as a sport, Heads Up is organizing this competition. “Heads Up!” is a term used in the game of Ultimate Frisbee to warn players of an incoming flying disc. It will commonly be heard in the sidelines of the playing fields with players that are warming-up. However, “Heads Up!” is more than just a warning. It signifies something that is deeply rooted within every Ultimate Frisbee player, the “spirit of the game”. This concept is centered on the balance between a high level of competitiveness and a good sense of sportsmanship.

The Heads Up organization was created to spread Ultimate Frisbee along with the values that it imbibed. Frisbee is not just throwing and catching as other people think. The growing ultimate Frisbee players and the millions of enthusiasts all over the world proved that this sport can be as nourishing and worthwhile as other sports.

Frisbee is likewise catching on in the Philippines, with Frisbee enthusiasts now forming groups that compete with each other. Moreover, some universities had also included the sport in their varsity activities.

It is becoming a widely popular sport and a favorite choice for exercise because it improves cardiovascular endurance, stamina, flexibility, agility and as well as coordination. Moreover, the competition brings a strong education and teamwork message. The event aims to enhance youth development through this sport.
