Congrats to everyone who ran this weekend! 🏅 here’s a few of my favorite runDisney memories over the years!

My RunDisney journey started in 2014 with the inaugural Enchanted 10K. Since then, I’ve finished two more 10Ks, a 10 Miler, and 2 Half Marathons at Disney!

I don’t consider myself a runner but there’s something extra magical (and motivational) about running at Disney!

It’s no secret…it rains A LOT on Florida! Like…almost every day, especially in the warmer months. BUT DO NOT PANIC — a little rain will NOT ruin your vacation! In fact, you may find that it makes it even more magical ✨ • DO NOT leave the parks just because it starts to rain! Stick around and find somewhere dry to stay until it passes…maybe even grab a snack while you wait! Once the rain stops, you’ll find that the crowds are much lighter because a lot of people will have left the parks • DO pack your ponchos and rain gear! If you don’t mind getting a little wet, throw on your ponchos and shoe covers and keep going! The crowds and wait times will be SUPER LOW — plus most rides at WDW are inside! • DO stay for the Rain Day Parade at Magic Kingdom! If you ever get to see this parade, count your lucky stars because it’s rare! If it’s only lightly raining, make sure you ask about parade times for a chance to catch it! • DO NOT cancel your WDW vacation because you see rain in the forecast. Seriously…it rains almost every day and usually only lasts for a few minutes! One HUGE mistake I see most people making is…not making time for a pool/resort day! 🌴 You pay a lot of money and spend a lot of time picking out the perfect resort for you and your family…so why not take the time to stop and smell the chlorine (?) Ok…maybe don’t do that BUT I definitely recommend planning a “rest” day on every trip to Walt Disney World. You (…and your feet) will thank me later! But seriously…the resorts at Walt Disney World have so many fun things to see and do, and most people miss out on these experiences because they spend every waking moment in the theme parks. Each resort offers its own unique activities like Mickey tie dye, vampires and movies under the stars, castle paintings, and more! So during your next stay, make sure you check out the activity board!
