Looking for an affordable Amsterdam hotel? 🧡
Check out WESTCORD FASHION HOTEL ✅ It's a 4* star hotel and a part of the well-known WestCord Hotels Group. Although the hotel is not located in the city center, it is close to the tram station that makes it easy to travel throughout the city. They also have bike rentals right there at the hotel and you can get to Vondelpark easily on bike paths right behind the hotel. Around the hotel, there are lots of great shops, museums, and dining right on the other side of the park. The property is designed to be modern and the rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is particularly good with a very large range of choices available. Other amenities on site include a Skyy Bar with good views, saunas, fitness, swimming pool, a steam room and a wellness garden.

⚠ FAQ: I want to visit one of the following cities - the Hague, Gouda or Delft. Help me to choose!
✅ Answer: The Hague, Gouda, and Delft are all interesting and beautiful cities in the Netherlands, but they have different attractions and vibes 🥰
Here is a brief overview of each city and what they offer:
▶️ The Hague: The Hague is the seat of the Dutch government and the residence of the royal family. It is also a cultural hub with many museums, such as the Mauritshuis, which houses masterpieces by Rembrandt and Vermeer, and the Escher Museum, which showcases the works of the famous optical illusionist. The Hague also has a beach resort area called Scheveningen, where you can enjoy the sea, the sand, and the pier.
Check out attractions in the Hague > https://bit.ly/3uwIdJ8
▶️ Gouda: Gouda is famous for its cheese, which you can taste and buy at the weekly cheese market that takes place every Thursday from April to August. Gouda also has a charming old town with a Gothic town hall, a medieval church, and a cheese museum. Gouda is also known for its candles, stroopwafels, and clay pipes, which you can find in the local shops and markets.
Things to do in Gouda > https://bit.ly/3UxOMpv
▶️ Delft: Delft is a picturesque town with a rich history and a strong connection to the Dutch Golden Age. It is the birthplace of the painter Johannes Vermeer, whose works can be seen at the Vermeer Center, and the home of the Delftware pottery, which you can admire at the Royal Delft factory and museum. Delft also has a beautiful canal network, a historic market square, and a royal burial vault at the Nieuwe Kerk.
Activities in Delft > https://bit.ly/3SDjWcg
Depending on your interests and preferences, you can choose the city that suits you best. If you like art, culture, and politics, you might enjoy The Hague. If you like cheese, sweets, and crafts, you might prefer Gouda. If you like history, pottery, and canals, you might like Delft. You can also combine two or more cities if you have enough time, as they are well connected by public transport. I hope this helps you plan your trip. Have a wonderful time at the tulip festival and in the Netherlands! 😊

Many guests praise the high level of hygiene, roominess of the rooms, cozy beds, and good facilities 😍
However, some travelers have raised issues about occasional shortcomings in housekeeping and service, as well as the lack of USB sockets in rooms. Moreover, many guests think the hotel, along with its restaurant, bar and breakfast, is too expensive.

Bitterballen are a type of Dutch snack that are made from a thick meat stew that is chilled, rolled into balls, breaded, and deep-fried (sounds good?) 😋 They are usually served with mustard and beer, and are popular in bars and cafes. Bitterballen are similar to croquettes, but smaller and rounder. They are often eaten as part of a platter of assorted snacks, called a bittergarnituur. Bitterballen are a delicious and satisfying way to enjoy the Dutch cuisine! Have you tried them? 😎

Another hotel recommendation? 😁
The Clemens Hotel in Amsterdam has gathered positive reviews from guests despite being a 2* hotel. Conveniently situated in central Amsterdam, it is close to the tram, Anne Frank House, shops, and restaurants. The hotel is characterized by its quiet ambiance, cleanliness, and comfort. The staff, known for their helpfulness, even assist with suitcases on the steep stairs. Two adorable resident cats add to the charm.
Despite the small room size, guests find it clean and comfortable. The steep staircases may pose challenges for those with mobility issues. However, the warm welcome and thoughtful touches, such as a free welcome drink and local information, make up for it. The rooms, though compact, offer bright spaces with comfortable beds, satellite TV, and en-suite bathrooms featuring good hot showers.
The hotel maintains high standards, and the 24-hour reception ensures guests' needs are met. A small outside terrace allows guests to enjoy the surroundings. The buffet breakfast includes a variety of options, including fresh scrambled eggs, croissants, toast, and unlimited fruit juices. The availability of free coffee, tea, and mini muffins adds to the convenience.
Overall, the Clemens Hotel is a wonderful choice for travelers seeking a centrally located, welcoming, and well-maintained place to stay in Amsterdam 🧡
