This luxury penthouse apartment has been appointed to a high standard with a great terrace, fully equipped to enjoy Spanish outdoor live. The spacious, south facing terrace provides stunning views over the fields and the mountains and is overlooking the 10th green of the Mar Menor Golf course. The terrace is equipped with 2 independent awnings allowing you to play around with sun and shade as you desire. The perfect place for catching sun rays any time off the day on reclining sun loungers, enjoying al fresco dining or chill out in the comfortable lounge set … while looking at the stars. The apartment is extremely bright and has been beautifully and immaculately furnished with modern, stylish furniture. The luminous living room has 2 patio doors offering panoramic views and direct access to the terrace, a dining table and relax corner with TV. In short, it has everything you could possibly need for a perfect relaxing holiday including air conditioning, WFI & Satellite TV. It is your perfect "home away from home" located on one of the best Golf & Leisure Resorts in Murcia. There is a good variety or leisure and sporting activities available on this well secured resort as well as an excellent choice of bars and restaurants. In addition there is a well stocked supermarket on the resort just 5 minutes stroll from the apartment. The resort and apartment are located only 10 minutes drive from the beach, 20 minutes from Cartagena and 35 minutes from Murcia City, 10 minutes from the Murcia San Javier Airport, 55 minutes from Alicante Airport and 15 minutes from two excellent out of town shopping malls. The ideal apartment and location whatever you enjoy doing on holiday. The property has 2 double bedrooms with large built in wardrobes and invertible (cooling/heating) independent air-conditioning. The Master bedroom has a double bed and patio doors to the terrace. All linen and towels, including quilts for the winter months are included. The beds, mattresses and bedding are all brand new and are of good quality, assuring you of a good night’s sleep. All towels are supplied for your stay including beach towels for use by the pool or on the terrace’s sun loungers. The apartment has 1 bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, lavabo, toilet and bidet, a storage cabinet and shaver points. The kitchen, a step away from the outdoor dining table, is fitted out with brand new appliances throughout. There is a microwave with grill, electric “plancha”, traditional oven, hob and hood, large fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The kitchen is also fully equipped with kettle, toaster, all pots and pans, cooking utensils, cutlery, glasses and crockery. Two large common pools are a stroll away from the apartment. You are allowed access to the 14 common pools on the resort. The property is located on a quiet, one-way avenue away from the main resort access roads and there is a small green park area with benches 30 meters from the front door. At the other side of this park lies a children's play park. The park overlooks the 8 floodlit padel tennis courts and a brand new air-conditioned gym with state of the art fitness equipment and LCD TV screen. Plenty of open green areas ideal for a family game of cricket or football. Walking or biking on the paved paths along the golf course is most enjoyable. The Town Centre and the El Boulevard areas of the resort are a couple of minutes walk away. At the Resort Town Centre you will find the supermarket, communal pool with bar and changing areas, the hairdressers, resort management offices, bars and restaurants, kids club, a floodlit tennis court, taxi rank and the bus stop for the free shuttle to the beach and shopping centers (and back!). This free service runs 5 or 6 times a day from late May to September and there is also a public bus stop just outside the resort entrance. In addition there is the kid’s discos and live family entertainment most nights during summer. The 5 Star Intercontinental Hotel with Spa, indoor pool, Spikes Bar and Golf Clubhouse are also located in this area. "El Boulevard" is a long promenade of bars and restaurants located just outside the resort gates. Here are also a few shops & offices and a bank with a 24 hour cash machine. Cleaning & Laundry is included in the prices quoted. We count on your cooperation to shut down air conditioning by time to avoid excessive electricity consumption and retract the awnings when you leave the apartment. Damage deposit of 200 Euro required with each booking. This is refunded within a few days of your departure when you return our apartment to us in good order and after check on abusive electricity consumption. A 25% deposit is required on booking with the balance is due 6 weeks prior to arrival. All linen and towels are provided and there is no additional charge for cleaning and laundry. All cleaning and laundry is done by our cleaning company. Extra cleaning or linen change can be arranged at extra cost. THE-HOUSE-MAIDS are a professional property management & cleaning Service Company located close to the resort. Their contacts and meeting details will be provided. You will be greeted by a member of their staff on your arrival at the resort and shown to your property. Golfers …. The area is well known for the La Manga Club resort, renowned for its Three Championship Golf Courses, LTA Tennis Centre Training Ground and being the training ground of visiting football teams from Spain, the UK and the whole of Europe. The area has much to offer. There are 12 further golf courses of an excellent standard in the region of Murcia, all within just a few minutes drive of this apartment. If a golfing holiday is your ideal then this is the perfect place for you. Once you have enjoyed the 5 Polaris World courses you can try Roda Golf and Beach which is only 15 mins drive from the villa, or La Serena again at Los Alcazares. La Serena is a tricky course and take lots of spare balls as there are 16 holes with water. The Club house is excellent and they do a very welcome lunch after golf at a good price. Mosa Trajectum is only 15 mins up the road, this has 3 x 9 hole golf courses and so you can choose to play 18 holes or 27, plus there is a further Challenge Course. Finally Hacienda del Alamo, the furthest from the villa and ideal for the enthusiastic golfer. 18 holes of large open fairways, a truly excellent course, very well presented and maintained. Murcia is more than just golf, it has a history that pre dates the Romans. If you are here in September then it is worth a visit to the Romanos y Catheginas festival. Every year in the third week of September the people of Cartagena reinact the Roman invasion, the battles, the marriages and the departures! This live history takes place every evening and all day Friday Saturday and Sunday there is a battle or a procession somewhere in the town. Then they pack up and go back to work for Monday morning. The costumes, the atmosphere, the noise it is really worthwhile seeing, especially bearing in mind that these are ordinary people from the towns and villages around Cartagena. Murcia City is only 35 mins drive and steeped in history. Famous for its Moorish architecture and huge cathedral which exhibits an eclectic mix of ancient, old, Georgian and modern architecture. The city has of course lots of wonderful shops and places to eat. Christmas time in Murcia is particularly special with the Christmas street lights and the palm trees decorated in fairy lights. There is plenty of choice of beaches in Murcia along its 271km of coastline. From the villa the safe, shallow waters of the Mar Menor are the closest and easiest to find at the town of Los Alcazares. La Manga Strip ... the "sleeve" of land that runs from Cabo de Palos in the south to San Pedro in the north is 18km long and encloses the warm tranquil waters of the Mar Menor to the west and has the livelier colder Mediterranean to the east. The Strip is up to 1km wide in parts and in others is is merely 100m allowing only for the road to run through with a beach on either side. La Manga Strip is a town in its own right, albeit a long thin one! There are shopping centers, restaurants and bars set in plazas or squares. The marina at the Puerto Tomas Maestre is beautiful and houses some stunning boats and yachts that most of us can only dream of, but the restaurants are great and the atmosphere is wonderful. Water sports ... well there could not be a better or safer place to learn to sail, jet ski or kite board. The area has a number of sailing schools with a wide range of boats and dinghies on which to learn to sail or to brush up your sailing skills. Diving is a popular sport and there are a number of different diving schools offering anything from the beginners course to night dives for the more experienced diver. The dive around Isla Grosa, for example, takes around 1 hour and takes your through the magnificent quartz caves. The Mar Menor Golf Resort / Polaris World near Los Alcázares area

This new and exciting resort, constructed by Polaris World is situated barely 5km from the warm waters of the Mar Menor, a 10 minute drive from San Javier, Murcia International airport and 55 minutes from Alicante airport. The centre of Murcia, capital of the province, is 35 minutes away and the ancient Roman and historic port of Cartagena is even closer. The villa is found within a secure area surrounding a 18 hole golf course designed by Dave Thomas. A short walk from the villa you will discover the new 5 star hotel complex with spas, fitness centre, supermarket and shops. Los Alcazares is a great town to visit. It has a long sandy beach which is on the shallow and safe waters of the Mar Menor. The beach has a wide promenade which runs along its entire length and has numerous beach bars and restaurants. The town itself has numerous large supermarkets, there are quiet plazas to enjoy a coffee or sit out and enjoy a dinner in the evening. There are some lovely Spanish restaurants and tapas bars, Patio II is very popular for barbecued meats with a very Spanish style. There are international restaurants, an Indian Restaurant - Hindustani - is certainly the best one that I have tried in the area.
