The long term aim is to have Creative workshops running in the community by hosting workshops and projects for family, children, young people and adults from all walks of life and ability and not forgetting hosting children arts and craft party's. Learning these basic skills have a positive impact for confidence, self worth, family bonding, meeting new people and maybe start gene

WHAT IS C & D CREATIONS

C & D Creations empowers Children, Young People and adults though empowering them to be able to create Jewelry and screen printing onto fabric via a quick speedy method using easy learnt basic skills. This idea was generated though me expressing general interest to London Youth Support Trust who supported me and placed me a 6 week course which focused on learning new skills in Jewelry making and screen printing, which could be used for my personal purposes, a new practice in my youth work and also be taught to others in small workshops at peoples request in the wider community. LEADING BY EXAMPLE

My daughter 7 at the time saw me at home and wanted to get involved which I supported, I saw how much it was enjoyed by her and friends and said to myself this is not just the start of a new initiative by a new bonding process between my daughter and myself. Since last year the both of us have been making jewelry and selling at one off craft markets, pop up shops and fun days in the community. Having my daughter as part of this work has taught my daughter the value of hard work pays off, and the values of being self reliant by having a trade of her own, value of money and has also boosted her confidence. A BIT ABOUT MYSELF

My work experience:
I have a Youth and Community background and have worked in the field for 13 years working in a variety of different settings as a Hub Assistant Manager, Youth worker, Family support worker, Family assessment worker, Education welfare officer and mentor. Education and Training

I successfully completed a Ba Hons: Applied Social sciences, Youth and Community Development Work. Introduction into Counselling Skills

Train a trainer
Child protection/Safeguarding
Basic jewelry and screening printing skills
I am DBS cleared

Soo I have this lovely seafood platter last week. It was so nice it was clearly for 2 people but I managed to finish the whole thing basically, it was so nice I may of gave a dumpling a prawn and a taste of the mac and cheese 🤣😂. It was so nice I so recommend this platter 💯❤️... I was food drunk my sister thought she had the wrong number when she called so she hung up 😂🤣🤣😂. Oh yes you also get a decent amounted salad too. Support the movement you shall not be disappointed by ... cakes, punch and plenty other dishes are on the menu

I so love this collection.
Glass beads are made in Krobo, (Ghana) at base of recycled glass - mostly bottles, broken, crushed and sifted depending on whether you want to get translucent or opaque beads. This glass is then melted in conventional ovens clay at high temperature. They are then cut out piece and hand painted.

Metal beads come from Ivory Coast or Burkina Fasso and are made using the ancient lost wax method.

African beads carry a part of mysteries, decades they served coin and traveled the world. By wearing them you will find the magic of Africa.

This child is growing up to be such a lovely young lady in my eyes. As her mum I have faced many challenges questioned myself as a mum on many occasions, been challenged buy many due to how I choose to parent. You know what I woke up this morning and I said to myself Cara it’s all been worth it. She is my pride and joy my one and only Dee Dee. But I cannot ignore the fact of all of you beautiful people who have supported us as it takes a village to raise a child. ***en baby girl I just love you 😘
