We welcome people of all ages and ability levels to our classes, so if you’re worried about not being “good enough” to join in, then please don’t fret! The classes are designed so that, if a particular pose feels too much, or is not enough of a stretch, we’re able to offer you variations. BYOB (bring your own baby).

We recently discovered this stone table, not far from the Mas, where you can pick grapes off the vines, scoop almonds off the ground and watch breathtaking sunsets like this.

Nothing beats the colours, sounds and smells of the Farmers Market in Uzès, once voted the best in France. On Saturdays, you can pay a visit to the bustling market square to stock up on fresh produce, take a look at the handmade jewellery, ceramics and textiles, or simply to soak up the wonderful atmosphere.

The other yoga teacher who will be joining us on the retreat in September is Theresa Banovic. Over the past 35 years, Theresa’s love for yoga and healthy living has taken her on a wonderful journey, practicing and studying with teachers and students from a variety of lineages. In 2001, she completed the BWY Teacher Training Diploma, followed by the Foundation Course, Ayurvedic Yoga Massage - level 1 & 2, and a one-week intensive Ayurvedic Massage course in Goa. Inspired by the gentle approach pioneered by Vanda Scaravelli, Theresa felt encouraged to invite some softness into her yoga practice, which she continues to be aware of today.

One of our teachers on this year’s retreat is Jesse Banovic, who recently completed her yoga teacher training with yoga school, and who also trained with James Winstanley at in 2016. After suffering from adrenal fatigue at the age of 25, Jesse decided to take a more holistic approach to life, realising that the fast-paced lifestyle of the city was getting the better of her. She now aims to bring a better understanding of self-care to all around her.

What a fabulous month September is at Mas De L’Aveugle! Hard to leave the fig trees when there is so much harvesting to do... ( well done Bigus Figus!). Back at the end of November / beginning of December to harvest the olives. We are now offering Chambre D’Hote with large double ensuite rooms from €75pn. Or the apartment at €95.
