Our first fam since July 2019 led us to Calgary, Edmonton, Jasper, Lake Louise and Banff to explore spring skiing plus a variety of non-ski activities. Long story short, we had an absolutely amazing time, the skiing for this time of year was simply phenomenal and the Columbia Icefields Parkway as stunning as ever! To show everything we experienced here would be impossible, but if you’d like to know more about it, see us at RVC in Quebec City next month!

We absolutely love this idea, it deserves to be supported. We were able to witness the efficiency of the snow netting first hand last week, the skiing was amazing. Offering Canada’s most environmentally friendly products, Sunshine has earned its place in our 2024 lineup of winter tours.

We are ever so thankful for what Mother Nature gives us, we don’t take it for granted, we preserve it! We don’t make snow, we farm it.

Sunshine Village's trail crew builds over 30 km of snow-fencing annually. Her highness herself blows wind over Banff Sunshine Village, at 2286 meters above sea level, as our fences capture large amounts of wind-blown, natural snow. We then push the snow onto the slopes, for skiers and snowboarders to enjoy what Mother Nature gives us, Canada’s Best Snow!

Snow Farming saves us over 75,000,000 gallons of water a year, by eliminating snow guns!

Crowded beaches? Not here! Kamloops Riverside Park in the morning of an absolutely gorgeous day that will see temperatures in the high 30’s low 40’s again. The park is being updated right now and will see a new splash / water fun area next year. There’s also a dog walking area. When you travel Canada’s West, sooner or later you will come through Kamloops being at the cross roads of two major East-West as well as North-South corridors. Take a break, let the kids and your four-legged friends have some fun. Now, if they could build a patio over the water for Mom & Dad serving cold beer, it would be heavenly!
