RECORD BREAKING ❄ UPDATE: Donner Summit has had 210"/17.5' feet of snowfall during the month of December alone, with a total of 264"/22' feet of snowfall for the season so far. "We are now at 258% of our average snowpack through this date and we have received 70% of our average annual snowfall (and snow is still falling)." - UC Berkeley Central Sierra Snow Lab *This is a record breaking amount of snowfall for the month of December. The previous December snowfall record for the area was 179" back in 1970!! *This photo is a visual representation from a previous season for reference.

Doing a little clean up today before the next wave of snow comes our way ~ we lost a few aspen to the heavy snow and wind along with this pretty good size pine that busted the fence. We also had significant ice we needed to bust up. If you’re coming to Tahoe this week, be prepared to shovel! ❄️ ❄️ 4-8 feet 🦶 expected through the weekend! is coming!
