Remember, Thais do not eat with chopsticks, unlike their Chinese or Japanese counterparts. Instead, they use a spoon and fork. In a Thai restaurant, you will be given a spoon for soup; for the second course, a spoon and fork.
🍜So, resist the urge to ask for chopsticks in restaurants and cafes that serve Thai food. If you do come across chopsticks while travelling in Thailand, it's a sign that you've stumbled upon a Chinese or Japanese restaurant.

Long-tail boats, known locally as "rua hang yao" (เรือหางยาว), are an iconic part of Thailand's maritime culture.
These traditional wooden boats are easily recognizable by their long, narrow hulls and distinctive engines mounted on long shafts, which give them their name.
Their design allows them to navigate both shallow waters and open seas, making them incredibly versatile.

I captured the fascinating process of rubber tree sap processing on Koh Yao Island. The Thai villagers there skillfully filter the sap and roll it into small, snow-white mats.
Koh Yao Yai and Koh Yao Noi are two serene islands in Phang Nga Bay, situated between the popular tourist spots of Phuket and Krabi.
Visiting these islands offers a unique opportunity to experience the tranquil and laid-back lifestyle of small fishing villages.
