Hello, we are Mara and Blake (and two cute little kiddos), the passionate and adventurous family behind this dream hotel in Island Park, Idaho. Our journey began with a chance encounter in Argentina 10 years ago! As a young family, we embarked on the exciting adventure of building our dream hotel in this stunning location, surrounded by the beauty of Yellowstone National Park and the Henry’s Fork River.
With a deep commitment to creating a sanctuary for travelers seeking solace and connection, we poured our hearts and souls into every detail of the hotel. From the minimalist Scandinavian design to the luxurious amenities, we strived to create a space that reflected our passion for hospitality and our love for the natural world.

This secluded paradise is where we feel most grounded, where we can truly let go of all our worries and breathe deeply, where the soothing sounds of the river washes away any stress, and where the crackling of the wood burning in the fireplace fills our hearts with warmth.
It is in this special place that we have chosen to lay down our roots, to build our hotel, and to create a space where we can share our deep love for Idaho with all of you. This place holds a special magic for us, a place where we feel truly at home, and we are so grateful to be able to welcome you into our little corner of paradise.

Reflecting on this photo from a year ago brings back a rush of emotions. I remember the nerves and excitement we felt as we presented our hotel plans to the city council. It was a pivotal moment for us, knowing that our dreams were on the line. Our daughter was right there with us, and our son was growing in my belly, a symbol of the new beginnings ahead. Looking back now, I can’t believe how far we’ve come in just a year. The challenges we faced, the obstacles we overcame - it all led us to this moment, on the cusp of opening our doors to guests. The anticipation is palpable, and I can’t wait to share our passion and hard work with the world. It’s been a wild journey, but I’m so grateful to be here now, ready to welcome everyone in just a few weeks. The excitement is overwhelming, and I can’t wait to see where this next chapter takes us. 🌲 🪄
