I first began crafting as a young child, when I would happily sit for hours with paper scissors cutting up old catalogues and magazines and sticking images together to make pictures. Birthdays and Christmas would often bring gifts of painting by numbers; pin art; mould and paint plaster figure kits; and other such ‘kit in a box’ products. I later started to paint pebbles collected on holidays and

I also enjoyed drawing, sewing, cross-stitching and making basic greetings cards for my family – the usual girlie stuff. As I grew older, so the accessibility, variety and quality of materials available improved, as did my ability and confidence. I began to experiment with different fabrics, papers, parchments and colouring mediums and created more elaborate and detailed card designs and gifts, again for family and friends. Following a number of compliments and suggestions, and with the encouragement of some of my family, I decided to make my cards more widely available.

Cards by Knight has been more of a ‘Crafts by Knight over recent weeks. Now that gifts have been given to the respective recipients, I can share the ’Exploding Sewing Box’ and the ‘Clutch Bag Nail Kit’. Really enjoyed doing something a bit different.

It has been really good to be able to do some ‘me’ crafting for a special member of my family. Yesterday, beautiful Stacey married the love of her life, Gersh and I was honoured to be able to join them as they tied the knot and afterwards to celebrate in the usual family fashion. They were both delighted with the chapel keepsake I made for them. I wish them a lifetime of health and happiness in their life together as husband and wife 💕💕💕
