On Labor Day 2000 Rockport Tours' traveling friends took a little trip to Casdada de Micos, a waterfall near Ciudad Valles. These are happy folks who loved the water and the relaxed mañana lifestyle. We swam and picnicked near the tumbling falls. It's hard to imagine that so many years have passed since!

These lovelies are basking in the warm "healing waters" at Taninul, an old-time health spa in Mexico in 2001. Taninul was a favorite destination for many Rockport Tours' traveling friends because the spa's smelly waters were called the "Fountain of Youth". Who knew? But, we always had a wonderful time trying to grow younger!

Some of you may remember John's son, Jeff, who took several trips with Rockport Tours' traveling friends to Mexico. Jeff lived with us for about six months while recovering from a work related incident. Well, here he is today with his family, Peyton, Faith & Heather, at Swiss, MO. Yep, time flies, changes happen, and many time good things come our way.

Here's a great snapshot of some Rockport Tours' traveling friends in Atlantic City in 2003. We were there to greet another new Prevost motorcoach and ride it all the way home to South Texas. Looking back, those "new bus" tours still gives John and me wonderful memories. We hope you have great memories of our trips, too!

Our New York/Canada cruises were an annual summer event! It gave us a chance to catch a Broadway musical, tour the Big Apple and then cruise to the cool climates of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. Boy, we'd love to do all that again! Bet you would, too! These folks were with us in summer 2009.

When John and I owned Rockport Tours we really enjoyed taking our staff with us on cruises throughout the year. It was an opportunity to get them away from the office and be with some of their traveling friends. Here are Sugar and B.J. on the Carnival Ecstasy in 2008. B.J. handled the office phones and Sugar escorted tours.They were part of a great Rockport Tours team!

"There's gold in dar hills!" Rockport Tours' traveling friends were yelling that at the Binkley family's gold digs in Fairbanks, Alaska. Many folks found just enough yellow treasure to take home as jewelry or in a little tube, but you have to admit . . . panning for gold is plain fun! These fotos were taken in September 2011.

Is that an orange? This picture from February 2001 was taken at the Hacienda Santa Engracia just outside of Ciudad Victoria, Mexico. We had wonderful experiences in Mexico, and weekend excursions to Victoria, the capital of Tamaulipas state, was a good example. The hacienda stands amid a massive orange grove and proves to be a quiet, secluded rustic hideaway.

It's so easy to find smiling faces in Messina on the Italian island of Sicily. Just look at these Rockport Tours' traveling friends in 2010. We were on a 14-night cruise from Hamburg, Germany, to Venice, Italy, on the MSC Magnifica. Yes, it was jacket weather in late March, but the warm sunshine was glorious.
