Mama Melrose's Ristorante will close on May 10.

This is all to make way for the new Monsters, Inc. themed area of Hollywood Studios.

What does do when we're not Disney-ing? Travel for our talented children, of course! Jace is competing at Stanford University tomorrow. He's an incredible gymnast. 🤸🏼‍♂️ Ryan is on gymnastics meet duty this weekend also but near home in Kansas City. We prefer to travel as a pack but we'll follow these kids anywhere their abilities take us!

MEDAL MONDAY in honor of the 2025 Walt Disney World Marathon this week!

I received a new medal rack for Christmas so all my runDisney bling needed to be reorganized/hung. I even hung Ryan's medals!

Next up will be more modular pieces surrounding my D***y display to showcase all the medals from my Perfect runDisney Season 2021/2022.

You all know I ALWAYS wear ears when I'm in the parks and sometimes they NEED to come off.
I take them off on rides, during shows so I don't block someone's view, or when we're in a restaurant.
Ears are not cheap and I don't want to lose them, forget them, or risk damage.

I often have more than one on my park bag so I can carry Ally's, or in case I buy a new pair. 😉

So, yeah. Sharing this huge piece of news.
I'm having lots of feelings about it and I'm not sure I know exactly what those feelings are yet.
I'm sad that Muppet Vision is closing because it is one of a short list of attractions I actually do in Hollywood Studios (remember, Tara doesn't do things that go round and round and/or up and down, or VR). Hollywood Studios has a lot of thrill. But, I'm happy Muppets will live on, at least a little, as a reimagining of Rock n Roller Coaster. This is one of Ally's favorite rides!
I hope Monstropolis is awesome. It needs to be.
I do wish Muppets would've been expanded to Rock n Roller Coaster rather than redirected.

Enter the world of Monsters, Inc. when it is added to the south side of Hollywood Studios, while The Muppets move to Sunset Boulevard.
