BREAKING

New information on the My Disney Experience app states that Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will close on January 6, 2025 and reopen in 2026 (no official date yet). We knew it needed refurbishment and was possibly getting a new track but this could also be directly related to the new Villains Land area being constructed in the Magic Kingdom.

Leaving the and getting back into the real world is always such a struggle! I have SO MUCH more of our trip to share with you and will be getting it out little by little each day. I have 6 (!!!) more days to break down as well as a lot of PhotoPass images to share, not to mention food and restaurant reviews! It's all coming! We had a blast and found a lot of magic to fill our cups until the next trip!

A hidden delicious gem!
Go up the stairs in the Canada Pavilion at Epcot and in the shop on the far right. You will find a small bar with a few drink options. My favorite is the Iniskillin ice wine. It's incredibly sweet so only get a couple of ounces but it's a fantastic dessert with a rich flavor!

Hollywood Studios!

• Skyliner to Riviera Resort via the hub at Caribbean Beach Resort
• breakfast at Topolino's Terrace with painter Mickey, writer Minnie, sculptor Donald, and dancer Daisy
• Skyliner to Hollywood Studios to meet up with my brother-in-law, Nathaniel
• Mando meet & greet in a tucked away corner of Galaxy's Edge
• + Uncle Nathaniel = Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, Tara to a walk-up Oga's Cantina experience; Jet Juice!
• Toy Story Mania with a manageable line
• Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, a first for Uncle Nathaniel!
• lunch at Backlot Express for : chicken tenders! Nathaniel to Baseline Taphouse
• plan was Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage but the rain had other plans so we perused the shops on Sunset extensively before giving up and calling it a day.
• pool time!
• dinner at Shiki-Sai in Epcot's Japan Pavilion with a view of Luminous with piped in music
• with some energy left and the boys hungry again, hit up the pizza window on the Boardwalk and have a couple drinks at Abracadabar
