The John Muir Trail (JMT) is one of the most iconic and beautiful hikes in the United States, located in the High Sierra region of California. Spanning over 211 miles, the trail passes through some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, including deep valleys, alpine meadows, and snow-capped peaks.

The JMT starts at Happy Isles in Yosemite National Park and ends at the summit of Mount Whitney, the highest peak in the lower 48 states. Along the way, hikers will get to see some of the most famous landmarks in the Sierra Nevada, including Half Dome, Mount Whitney, and the Rae Lakes.
