🚗 SINGLE TRACK OR NARROW ROADS 🚲

When using single track roads, please be mindful of other users. Pull into passing places to let traffic pass safely. 🚦

On single track roads, there's not enough room for a bike and car to pass side-by-side, so use the nearest passing place to allow cars to go by. Some roads are just wide enough for a car to pass a bike – stay alert, especially if it's windy, as you might not hear a car approaching until it’s right next to you. 🌬️

You may also encounter doctors, nurses, or volunteer emergency responders on their way to help someone in need. They may flash their headlights to pass – they’re not being impatient, just on an important call. Please pull over an let them pass. 🚑

Lastly, always keep passing places clear so traffic can keep moving smoothly! 🛣️

ANNOUNCING!

I'm very excited to annouce that Miriam Iorwerth will be joining me for the performance of The Springbank Voyage at Cove Burgh Hall this Friday evening (November 8th).

Miriam will play Marimba - photographed here with this amazing instrument, which she also plays on the album - have a listen to the lovely hammer-blow rhythms on 'Iron and Canvas', and the gentle-emotive ocean-swells of sound on 'Waters Rising', or on 'Santa Rosalia Sunrise', alongside several of the other tracks.

A networked performance music specialist who works at the Royal Conservatoire of Music, Miriam has a PhD in Music, and has also sailed further South than most seafarers I know, having spent years based in South Georgia and in Antarctica.

Also pictured is Robin Wynn Evans who recorded/produced the ablum at Tpot Studio.
