We had an amazing family holiday in Zanzibar back in January. The beautiful island of Zanzibar is a gem in the sparkling Indian Ocean and a wonderful place to escape from the pressures of the modern world. Turquoise blue waters, shallow sandbars and the fascinating World Heritage Site of Stone Town are just some of the major attractions just begging to be discovered on this distinctive tropical island. It was just what we needed. We stayed in a beautiful traditional hotel in Stone Town for 3 nights before heading south for 8 nights at The Residences Zanzibar where we had our own private pool, and miles of deserted pristine beaches to stroll along. It was truly one of the most relaxing holidays we have ever had, I would definitely go back to Zanzibar and also tag on a safari as well!
