“We engaged the Holo Holo Maui Tour company for a private guided tour of the Road to Hana and were extremely satisfied with their tour. An Albuquerque travel agent put us in touch with this company. We made our reservations before we left home. They do have a website. I spoke to Jasmine directly, who I believe is one of the owners. It's a small company, so I'm not sure how far in advance you would need to make a reservation if you want to reserve either a private or group tour. Our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Joe was able to make the full day drive interesting with his stories of Hawaiian history and language information, as well as facts about birds, animals and plants of the island. It rained during part of our tour, but he was able to make adjustments so that we experienced a variety of sights and activities without any down time. We stopped for Auntie Sandy's banana bread, some macadamia nut brittle, and coconut ice cream, as well as a delicious meal from the Hana Ranch Restaurant for lunch. (He had offered some options for lunch, and we chose that one.) I'm sure no two Road to Hana tours are identical. We were able to go into a lava tube, walk on a black sand beach, see the irrigation system for a sugar plantation, and climb to a vantage point to see an amazing view.
I think adding the Holo Holo Maui guided tours service to your visitors' guide would be helpful for other guests.”
