The Feel 30-Day Challenge. How do you want to feel today? Are you ready to see if you can feel the way you’d like/want/need to feel for the next thirty days? We're inviting you to join us as we try to answer some simple questions about life. We promise you this will be one of the hardest challenges you've ever faced - and also one of the most useful and rewarding. But be warned - It will take your
full attention, force you to live in the moment, let go of the past, and prepare for the future all at the same time. It will challenge you to deal with whatever your daily life throws at you, to make the most and the best of it all. And it will demand that you make the changes that need to be made and nurture what’s already right about you. No doubt, you are thinking: "That sounds really hard!" and you are right! But if you are willing to commit the next 30 days to doing this challenge, you’ll discover that it's definitely worth the effort. Let's be clear here... We are not asking you to settle for living “responsibly” or doing what you think you're “supposed” to do - that’s obviously not working for most of us. Instead, we're challenging you to pay attention to your life, to make it work for you and those around you by feeling how you like to feel, whatever that is. It is actually the most responsible thing you can do for yourself and for others. Why? Because when you are feeling how you like to feel, you connect better, listen more closely, care more deeply, and perform better. Focusing on how you like to feel makes you better at knowing what you like in your life and what you don't and allows you to make better choices without wasting your time and energy on what ultimately doesn’t matter. In this challenge, there is no escape, no easy way out. There's no “I will do it later,” avoiding what you don't like, or giving into fear. This is not like a diet, where you try to take a whole bunch of things out of your life. Nor is it a vacation where you try to separate what you are doing from your real life. This is about stepping right into the middle of your life with two feet. It’s about feeling the people in front of you, working through problems confronting you, dealing with life’s inconveniences. It’s not only about making the best use of what you know, but seeking out those things you don’t know. It’s about feeling your food instead of just feeding your feelings. During this challenge, there’s no settling for just crashing on the couch. Think of this challenge as you making a commitment to yourself (and the people you care about) to doing what makes you feel how you’d like to feel instead of settling for whatever you feel like doing at any given moment. You make the commitment, and we will be there to provide support. We'll post stories and ideas from our own experiences along the way. We invite you to do the same. This 30-Day Challenge isn’t “free” though - it will cost you the time and effort that’s required to do something well - that’s the only way to be successful at anything. We’re not trying to sell you anything - we're actually doing this because a big part of us living the life we like involves connecting with other people who want to live the life they like. So we’re in this too, right there with you - and we believe this is the best way to get started, to understand what's worth saving and protecting, reworking and rebuilding. We hope you’ll join us.
