Our main guide and founder of Osa Roots is José, a nature guide who lives in the Osa Peninsula Costa Rica and has a great passion for birds and nature in general. José gained lots of his knowledge and experience during a Certified tourism program in College and whi

le working for Luna Lodge, a well-known eco-lodge situated at the border of Corcovado National Park. Now he started working freelance with the idea of sharing knowledge, experiences, and most of all passion and joy with people from all around the world while being in one of the most biodiverse places on Earth! Osa Roots es una agencia turística que ofrece actividades como caminatas educativas a Parques Nacionales y otras áreas protegidas en la Península de Osa en Costa Rica. Nuestro fundador y guía naturalista José tiene una gran pasión por las aves y la naturaleza en general. José obtuvo su conocimiento a través de un programa de formación a cargo del Instituto Nacional de Aprendizaje en Costa Rica y años de experiencia junto con hoteles y agencias turísticas de la zona. Ahora trabaja de forma independiente con el objetivo de compartir conocimiento y experiencias a los visitantes en uno de los lugares más biodiversos del mundo, la Península de Osa.
