Here’s a little vacation story for you.
Take a look at these 2 photos. What’s different?
It’s the same room, same view, same amenities. Room 1 was booked through a “discounter” and Room 2 was booked through me, a professional travel advisor.
They paid the same price up front, but Room 2 had a private ride from the airport pre-booked, knew how to make dining reservations, were booked on the tours they wanted, and were able to get home safely and without incident with their detailed guides I sent them.
Room 1 was not so lucky. They took an overpriced shared shuttle to the hotel, which took an extra 90 minutes to drop guests off at other hotels, they did not get the dining reservations they wanted since they didn’t know how to make them, and the tours they wanted were booked up. In the end, and they had to spend $800 extra to book last-minute tours and transfers home.
So when you see the same price that I quote, or even a little less, remember who you are dealing with before clicking “Book It.” Do you want to deal with hours on hold if something goes wrong, and talk to stranger, or email/call me to handle it?
Just remember: The price is only the beginning of your vacation story. What do you want yours to look like?
