La Casa De Leo Alicante, was one of our best finds in Alicante city. Located in the heart of the city.
A modern day approach to tapas with a slight fusion of Spanish and French cuisines.
What we had
🍽 👉Burrata, confit tomato cherrys, fruits and mint
🍽 👉Scallops and citronelle with fennel cream and
ponzu sauce and lime peel
🍽 👉Stuffed artichokes with mussels and gratined with kimchi and aioli
🍽 👉Ceviche of white fish, scalop, fisalis, gazpacho peach, apple and smoked corn
We tried a staff recommended Spanish rioja and was delightful and light. Make sure you ask advice they are spot on.
Open 6 days a week lunch and dinner and Sunday evenings.

Taking a tram in Lisbon is one of the most popular things to do in Lisbon.
A few things to know
👉The 28 tram is the most popular with its great route through the city. It can get crowded so maybe try taking it early morning to enjoy less crowds.
👉The tram 15 takes you all the way out to Belem
👉Obvious but try and avoid peak times throughout day.
👉Don't get caught paying €3 a trip there are plenty cards available to get cheaper trams with daily, weekly and monthly ootions.
We chose to get the €7 daily ticket from the metro that got 24 unlimited tram, train, metro and buses. But there is plenty of options message us for more details

🍽 Lisbon Food recommendation
We found this beauty of a restaurant down a back street in the Chiado area of Lisbon called
O Portugues Chiado.
An accidental find as we were on our way to another restaurant and we just stumbled across this beautiful looking tapas menu with a mix of new and traditional oldies, we didn't hesitate and went in. It ended up being our best find in Lisbon.
What we ate

👉Cauliflower cooked in apple and beetroot
👉Octopus Salad
👉Falafel plate
👉Bon Bons
Wine was fantastic with a great selection of local Portuguese wine.

One of our best finds in Lisbon was the @antigawinebar. Right in the heart off the city lies this small wine and tapas bar.
With an extensive wine menu and beautifully crafted tapas menu of new and old it's hard not to beat.
The service was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and with the small venue added a great personal touch.
