A great sunset on Isle Of Capri last night. Osteria Capri had a nice dinner signer, great food and a delightful sunset just past the Cool Beans Catamaran. If you’ve not done their boat cruises they are fun for all ages.

Sunsets, dolphins, and great restaurants aren’t the only thing that makes Marco special. This morning I pulled up to Ace Hardware and the car facility next door had these beautiful cars out. These old cars and the many American flags that fly proudly on the island give you a sense of nostalgia that is not found in many places any more.

Was another beautiful sunset tonight on Marco and there were 3 dolphins putting on a show for the sunset cruise just off shore.

Even though there wasn’t a sunset it was still beautiful as it tried to peek through as it faded away into the Gulf. Each day the island is getting more and more back to normal. Cable TV, WIFI and power has been restore to much of the island and Comcast / Xfinity has tomorrow targeted with more service through the island. Saw many of their trucks the past few days. Last night had a nice dinner at CJs and gelato at Dolce Mare. Book a stay at one of our condos, we have some openings between now and the end of the year, and just a handful of days during season remaining. We did have one guest go from two weeks to one week today for a one bedroom property in Olde Marco leaving a full week 2/4-2/11 open. See our boo for the link to book.

**Hurricane Ian Update 10/4/2022**

We’re very grateful that our properties didn’t receive damage from the hurricane.

We didn’t receive any water damage or wind damage. Our power and internet were restored on 10/2/2022.

Many restaurants are re-opening already and there are more opening up each day.

We look forward to hosting you in paradise again real soon.

Barely a hint of wind or a wave on the Gulf. We hope that Ian stays away from Marco and it becomes a weaker storm wherever it may land here in Florida.

October, November and December are some of the best months to visit Marco Island. Every day is paradise on the island, but the temps are great, less traffic than peak season and some fun events like the Island Christmas Parade and Boat Parade. We have openings at our condos, check out our website for dates. We only have a couple of dares open for the season from January to May.

The first sunset of summer did not disappoint on Marco Island. If you’re visiting Marco Island check out sunset at the while enjoying some drinks and snacks at Quinzz. They also have a free fire dancer show just as the sun goes down that kids really love to watch, it’s on the beach and you can enjoy even if you’re not staying there.

One of the biggest debates that I see on Marco Island visitor pages is “What’s the best pizza on the island”? Pizza is a very personal thing, but one of the most over looked pizzas on the island is at the Italian Deli, they moved last season to a cute building behind McDonald’s and across from the Marco Island Veterans Park. Great hot stone pizzas, salads, dessert and more! Give it a try on your next visit.

Amazing sunset last night, sent to us by our guests staying at our Pavilion Club condo in Olde Marco. They also saw a ton of dolphins swimming by each day during their stay. If you’d like to be out next guest, check out some upcoming openings. This condo books up fast, so don’t delay.

Who’s seen a gopher tortoise on Marco Island? We have a number of them in Hideaway Beach, cool to see them up close as they come out to dine on the grass. So much cool wildlife on the island.

Who’s going to the Marco Island Christmas parade tonight? Sure to be a great time and if you’ve never been on the island for the parade, put it on your list of times to visit. Lots of fun, Christmas spirit, without the bitter cold 😂. Don’t forget to take a tour of the island and check out the light displays too! 🎅
