We are proud to show Masa’s impact on Israeli national television this week!
Meet Shirel from France, Daniel from Mexico, Emma from the US, and Alisa from Russia.
They left their home countries to come to Israel with Masa and to leave an impact.
We are proud of the thousands of Fellows who are currently in Israel and showing their resilience in these challenging times.
This is our journey. Am Israel Chai. 🇮🇱
This Hannukah, be the light you wish to see 🕎✡️
Since October 7, volunteers across Israel have been providing crucial assistance to those affected by the war, showcasing Israeli and Jewish resilience. Due to the high demand for volunteer work in Israel, we’ve created Masa Volunteers, a new initiative inviting you to join a 6-week volunteer program in Israel, turning your compassion into action.
During your six weeks in Israel, you will engage in impactful volunteer work including:
📦 Food packaging
📚 Tutoring students
👨🌾 Agricultural work
👨👩👧👦 Assisting displaced families
🇮🇱 Contributing to rehabilitation efforts in southern and northern Israel

Andrey Kozlov participated in a Masa program last year and interned at Syte, a succesful company in Tel Aviv. After finishing his program, he embarked on a new chapter in his life and he was truly enjoying life in Israel.
On the morning of October 7, his life and of his dear ones changed. He was working as a security guard at the Nova Festival in Re’im, when the chaos started to unfold. Initially, he reassured his loved ones that everything was fine but unfortunately, that was the last contact they had with him.
Andrey’s story is one of the 240 heartbreaking tragedies involving innocent people who fell into the hands of Hamas and were taken to Gaza. We share Andrey’s story to shed light on his situation and to join the collective call for the safe return of him and all hostages to their homes.

This year, we asked 8 Masa Fellows to create art that represents Israel to them in honor of Israel’s Independence Day (Yom Haatzmaut). Their art work turned out colorful and unique, as they each channeled their own creative spirits.
Israel is a playground for independent exploration through Masa. Therefore, we invite you to watch this year’s Yom Haatzmaut video to celebrate this beautiful country’s 74th birthday!
Find Your Independence in Israel with Masa! 🇮🇱
Every Passover, we reread the Haggadah - the story of how the Jewish people fled Egypt for the land of Israel. This epic journey changed our history forever.
We asked our Masa Fellows what Passover means to them. For some, it will be their first Pesach in Israel, celebrating with friends and family.
Our Fellows will ask themselves what the next step in their lives will be, after their Masa program.
What does freedom mean to you? How will you be celebrating this Passover?
