Burkes Beach House guests we got anilahated by Hurricane Helene (09/26/24).

Cleanup was a nightmare in the heat and humidity wading through sludge.

We have an amazing contractor and crews on site and we are pushing to restore/rebuild as soon as possible.
I don’t see rentals before the new year.

The entire island was under water.

Trees and plants are dying - no match for 5’ a 7’ surge depending on location on the key. I guess I get to redo it all 🤦‍♀️ but so grateful for all of the wonderful help (Jill & Andrew + Nick’s crews).

Please reach out as we plan to have Beach House open as soon as possible and we do have other properties off the island.

Yes Helene is making our lovely key (barrier island) wet. Lock N Key looks to have water creeping up. will keep you posted as storm passes and we see properties. 🙏

Waiting for the high tide. Some docks are underwater by El Galleon South (bay side) but thankful for our lift now.
