Less than 100 kilometers from our apartment is a beautiful region called The Camargue, which lays between the Mediterranean Sea and the two arms of the Rhône delta. It is a fantastic day trip for going walking or riding in nature, spotting pink flamingos and other wildlife while admiring the lagoons and flora. Salt and rice are also produced in this area.
