At the Edges of Europe

Ok everyone- this was so beautiful. We made a trip to Corleone this friday with one of our partners. The sky was blue, the sun shined and we drove through amazing landscapes on our way to the Agriturismo Masseria S. Ippolito. Here you can stay for a couple of days or more, eat traditional sicilian food, go around in the area with bike or horse and join workshops. This place grow their own ancient Sicilian wheat (so cool!), vegetables and fruit and if you are lucky you come here when it is harvest time so you also can help and then eat a dinner you picked yourself. We love this place and we would like to stay here for our next vacation- I think you want it too.

Yesterday we spent a lovely autumn day at Casa di Paglia, another one of our partners in this project. Here lives Tiziana and Toti with their kids and they also rent out rooms and houses for visitors and do interesting workshops connected to permaculture and food. We had a calm and nice day talking about the project and our cooperation. After a lovely lunch and the afternoon coffee their oldest son challenged Davide at basketball and I must say that you can see Davide is a bit old and stiff compared to him... Anyway: Not everyone get the chance to play basketball at the slopes of Etna! Thank you so much for yesterday and we hope to see you soon again.

Yes, I know this is a cake and not a rural path, but this is also how we work sometimes. Last thursday we met one of our lovely partners Maria at Il Paradiso Farm at this café to discuss how to continue our cooperation. And this is a busy week: today we met Romina from Di Sana Pianta (yes, we had cake today too...) and we came up with a lot of good and fun plans that we will work on during this week. And we also have other meetings tomorrow, on wednesday and on friday with the rest of the partners in the project. We are looking forward to meet you all!

We have just been pleased to meet our first foreign partner, Johanna Ingvarsdottir from Iceland! :D

She spent a few days exploring our paths and...working together to plan our future collaboration!

"At the Edges of Europe" are breathtaking rural landscapes to experience in a sustainable way!

The company MGM Eco Energy Development will cooperate in the project to provide electric bicycles and install solar panels to power the bikes along our rural paths!!!

"At the Edges of Europe" has been officially presented in Magdeburg during the Europa Markt 2014, from 8 to 10 of May.

A lot of people asked detailed information about the project and they are looking forward to discovering our wonderful countries!

The project "At the Edges of Europe" will be officially presented in Germany during the Europa- Markt 2014!

For the event, which will take place in Magdeburg from May the 8th to May the 10th, we have prepared lovely promotional materials!
