Recently we have been asked "How can I thank or tip my travel agent for all their hard work?" While we never expect to be tipped, we wanted to share the best way you can show your appreciation to our team members. Here are five simple and FREE options!
1- Send them a thank you email. You would be amazed at how much a quick "Thank you for everything" can brighten someone's day.
2- Leave a positive review on their business social media account, Google business page etc. Make it personal, explain why you appreciated their services and why you would recommend them to someone else. It is also great to add photos if possible, and it's ok to copy/paste the same review on their FB review site, their Google Business page, and other social media. You don't have to rewrite your post for the different places you want to leave a review.
3- If they have a manager or boss, take a minute to send their manager or boss an email and let them know how much you appreciate their hard work. Management always hears the negatives, but small business owners love knowing that their team is kicking butt and taking names. In the case of our team you can send those glowing messages to [email protected].
4- Follow them on their business social media accounts and take a moment to share, like or comment on their business page posts. This helps their reach and helps you see their future posts.
5- Referrals! It is a proven fact that the best source of advertising any business will ever get is direct word of mouth referrals.
