Some of the best olive oil in the world has to be made in Portugal, more specifically in the Alentejo region, where we can see all the cork and olive trees creating beautiful landscapes for pictures. Learning how to taste olive oil is definitely a different experience (and for some even a competition!) that you can enjoy while staying in Portgugal.

A great way to relax and have a good time with family or friends is definitely at meals. We have the perfect experience… the Chef’s Table, with a market visit to kick off the day! Fresh fish, vegetables, bread, cheese, and sausages… everything is from the local producers. You can appreciate gorgeous plates and a well-decorated table with different themes throughout the year.

A quick look at one of the most iconic cities of Portugal, Porto has 213,962 inhabitants (2021), and is the second largest city in the country. It is the city that gave its name to Portugal - from a very early age (c. 200 BC), when it was called The Portus *Cale*, later becoming the capital of the [Portucalense County], from where Portugal was formed. It is well known for its wine, bridges, food, and different monuments (previous posts).

Our Team had a fabulous Christmas event with one of our close partners dos Coelheiros...what an amazing place, and a true feeling of the Alentejo region!! We had a a great time, enjoyed amazing wines and a delicious lunch!

Yesterday we celebrated Thanksgiving, one of our favorite American holidays :)!!! We have so much to be thankful for this year... our team is growing, we had a very fruitfull year with lots of hard work but amazing trips planned all over Portugal!!  We had an amazing time and delicious lunch, from turkey with gravy to pumpkin pie and pecan pie...yumi!!!

Trying the best snacks and dishes that Porto has to offer is a must. Pork sandwich, “Francesinha” and pastel de nata are some of the most iconic dishes and pastries you can have in the north, other options are easy to findo to, such as, hot dogs and small snacks (bola de Berlim). Definitely this will make you love the food in different ways.

If you are looking for nature and adventure, Gerês is the place to go, with the most beautiful sceneries and waterfalls full of crystal clear water. This visit was followed by a jeep tour with some traditional sausages and lunch next to the beach. Some of the most peaceful days you can have.

The Aqua Village Health Resort & SPA, in central Portugal, is a modern resort dedicated to health and well-being. Located on a property next to the Alva River, it has a thermal spring, as well as a river beach, and several treatment options to relax both body and mind. A client of ours that visited recently was delighted. “Unique sensory experience. I felt myself levitating. The masseuse's hands, the structure [with a suspended canopy] and the surroundings made everything more than perfect!".
