Inspired by her experiences on dance floors from around the globe PHOENIX "Whitecalf" has devoted the past 20 years of her life to exploring what it means to use dance, authentic movement and ritual for healing and empowering individuals and communities. She believes that in facilitating her own evolution and that of others she is assisting with the global shift that is happening at this time. Her mission is to use the tools she has gained throughout her life to empower and remind others to embrace their body’s movements and natural intelligence as a means of experiencing life to its fullest.

PHOENIX is the director and lead teacher trainer of Dancing Freedom International She offers dance rituals, teaches embodiment and leadership classes, workshops and teacher trainings throughout the world and will be our special guest DJ this Friday!

Melbourne!!!! Come dance and play with me TOMORROW at Ecstatic Dance Melbourne.

I'm heading North in two weeks for the winter and spring and would LOVE to warm ourselves by the heat of the beat, dancing together in unison, once more.

The theme I'm weaving with is: More, Life, Please!

This new moon in Virgo- supports us to go inwards and connect to the roots that hold us to our center. These times we are in can have us feeling like we are on a giant see-saw swinging up and down, from side to side, and all around- which can feel ungrounding and de-stabilizing.

How do we continue to pull our attention and energy inwards to source from a space that is connected, whole and regenerative?

Axis Mundi, in meditation, religion or mythology, is the world center or the connection between Heaven and Earth. As the celestial pole and geographic pole, it expresses a point of connection between sky and earth where the four compass directions meet.

My prayer is for each of us to tap into this power and force that moves through each of us- so we can take our next steps with focus, presence, attention and love- for the good of all our relations.

This full moon invites us to think, feel and DREAM outside of the box. There is so much changing in our world right now, and there is no returning to "normal," so how are YOU going to choose to meet these wild times of transition?

As individuals moving towards a common cause; Aquarius represents the WE (me, turned upside down:) We are each being asked to let go of our hold on what has been, to unleash the dreamer within and set ourselves free into the unknown of what could be!
