It’s CHRISTMAS AT CYPRESS GROVE SATURDAY! The banana tree is lighted and the Belties are fed. And we’re all waiting for you to come build houses from gingerbread!
🫚 🫚 Plenty of “gingerbread house building spots” are still available. Just bring your $15 for a team of TWO. Be here by 1:15..the contest starts at 1:30, and you can expect some fun “twists” along your candied way. Judging starts at 3, with SWAG to the winners.
🎁 Right after that…we’ll do our annual WHITE ELEPHANT GIFT EXCHANGE. It’s a blast…all’s you need to do is bring some odd, or funny, or regifting present. No minimum…this is all for fun!

Not a beer or brewery event post, but many of you tell us when you are visiting us on our farm that you’d one day like to own and/or live on a small farm, so here’s a chance. Carolyn’s family is selling their home place, which is located at 1748 N 1100 East Road, Tower Hill, Il, which is generally about 13 miles southeast of Cypress Grove. There’s a farmhouse on one tract, and then two more tracts with some farmland and some timber. For the hunters out there…there are a lot of deer on these farms, plus there’s getting to be more wild turkeys, pheasant and quail. There’s an open house coming up next Saturday, Dec 14 where you can view the house and walk the farmland. And then the online auction starts on Dec 20th and ends Jan. 3rd. Jordan Auction is conducting the auction, and can assist you getting more information if you’re interested.

Fun day on-tap at Cypress Grove as John Drake returns to entertain us with his excellent eclectic mix of tunes from 3-5. Add that to a very small batch of a very nice new imperial West-Coast ish IPA that we brewed for Sangamo, plus Phil’s mixing up a batch of White Chicken Chilli from the Beltie Bistro and you have the mak’ns of a great day! Open 12-7.

Another NEW MUSIC ALERT as The Beige Desperados visit CGB for the 1st time. An acoustic guitar duo, the Desperados play a wide range of music and cover artists such as Robert Earl Keen, The Jayhawks, John Prine, Bruce Springsteen, Micah Walk, John Fogerty and many others. They are even planning to play some new songs they’ve been working on this week! Catch them on the Main Stage 2:00-5:00. Plus a NEW Beer ALERT as Dunn Spruss’n Up, an English style Imperial Amber Ale returns. And the Beltiefest Bistro will be serving up some tasty Chicken Enchilada Soup.

Making our own music at The Grove this week as we experiment with a Drum Circle at 4 pm. We’ll have some homemade “drum like” instruments available but bring your own drum, musical instrument or noise maker and join in the melodic fun. 4 pm at the Main Stage area..come join in the craziness.
New Beer- Road Rise Irish Stout, a 14.2% Irish Stout barrel aged for 26 months. On tap and in bottles.
And the Beltiefest Bistro will be serving up Pork Burgers with a side of Chips or Chessy-Mac-n-Cheese for $5.

This Saturday, Oct 12, John Drake from 3-5 on the Main Stage. New Beer Release…Hearts in Lusaka, a 6.2% Midwest IPA (hop flavor and aroma but not bitterness + malty). And the Beltie Bistro will be serving BBQ Pork Sammies and chips for $5. Beautiful day on tap with lots of sun and fun. Open 12-9.
