Traveling to Walt Disney World during the holidays? Be sure to build in time to visit the onsite hotels! The decorations are beautiful and fit into the theming of each property. The deluxe resorts are particularly worth seeing as many of them have gingerbread displays this time of year. This picture was taken on the grand staircase in the lobby of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, which is also home to one of the largest trees and the largest gingerbread house onsite!

You don't get that many "princess years." We went all out at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique on our last Disney vacation because we realized that, by the next time we go, our daughter may very well be past the point of wanting to get all dressed up like Cinderella. Don't wait to make those princess memories! They grow up in a flash.

As Marvel fans, our family loves that Disney Cruise Line has MCU characters in their kids clubs and select dining locations. Although the MCU is well represented at Disneyland, the only way to see these characters on the East Coast is to go on a Disney Cruise! Some itineraries even have a dedicated Marvel Day at Sea with special themed events and character opportunities. This photo was taken at Worlds of Marvel onboard the Disney Wish, which is one of the 3 rotational dining venues onboard this ship and INCLUDED with your cruise fare. My kids were super excited to see Ant Man, the Wasp, and Spider Man during this dining experience!

In my opinion, the best place to take Hogwarts photos in Universal Orlando's Islands of Adventure is on the walking bridge between Hogsmeade and Jurassic Park. This bridge is located at the back of Hogsmeade, after you've walked through the village, or you can access it from the other direction by going clockwise through the park and entering from Jurassic Park. Just grab yourself a butter beer (frozen is my preference) and strike a pose!

It's National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day, so here's a throw back to when I was taken prisoner onboard an Imperial Star Destroyer while wearing my Darth Vader Christmas sweater (a.k.a. Today Evan and I celebrate 17 years of marriage! Here are some facts about us:

🥰 We met when we were 16 and were high school sweethearts.

👨👩 We were best friends before we started dating.

👩‍❤️‍👨 We dated for 5 years before we got married.

🏡 We grew up less than a mile from each other and had many common acquaintances, but we never crossed paths prior to high school.

My favorite pavilion in Epcot's World Showcase is the UK pavilion, especially during the Festival of the Holidays. Do you know how I got these pictures with no one else behind me? This isn't an edited photo: I was really all alone in that pavilion (besides my photographer husband). We were staying at Disney's Beach Club Resort on this trip and, as guests at a deluxe resort, we got to take advantage of evening extended hours. We got to stay after the park closed to other guests and experience our favorite attractions with low wait times plus get great low crowd photos like these.
