This is definitely not for the faint hearted 😅 The portion size is HUGE! Deep fried chicken served on a bed of mango salsa, as well as a monstrous serving of sweet potato 🍠 fries🥰 I couldn’t finish it. Recommended for 2 person 😂

When we googled the best boutique hotel in Langkawi, @lot33boutiquehotel kept popping up. We did some research and soon found out why this was one of the most popular hotels in Pantai Tengah!
As we walked into the hotel, we were greeted by an almost jungle-like vibe, with random plants and statues situated all around. It almost reminded us of Bali!
On our first night, we were treated to a Deluxe Room with Bathtub! The room was super spacious and it comes with a small balcony that oversees the hotel’s swimming pool! We spent most of our time lounging on our lounge chair in our balcony🤣
The bathroom was the main selling point! Spacious bathroom almost as big as the room itself, and a huge bathtub in the middle of the toilet! We absolutely love the space afforded in the bathroom🥰
We were also treated to a couple of drinks in the hotel’s bar, mélange 33🍸Our server was kind enough to recommend us couple of drinks to try, and we decided to go for 2 classics, Mojito and Pina Colada 😍 Both drinks were mixed to perfection and the portion size was very generous as well! Great ambiance with musics playing and also you are surrounded by all sorts of statues and plants 🤪😜
Breakfast was serve in the hotel’s restaurant! It was a basic breakfast with an American set cooked to order, and unlimited refills of bread, tea/coffee and orange juice. Both days of our breakfast had the same item, and that is understandable considering the lack of tourist in these tough times ☺️
On our second day, we were treated to a Deluxe Room with Jacuzzi! The room size was almost the same as the night before, but it comes with TWO balconies that overlooked the main road! The balcony also had a dining table as well!
The bathroom again is huge, this time fitted with a deep soaking jacuzzi! The jacuzzi itself could easily fit 3-4person and we highly recommend getting this room when you visit next time!
All in all, we felt at home while staying at Lot 33! Super friendl
We always like to head to the airport early to avoid any unforeseen circumstances from happening which could potentially delay our trip. However, sometimes you just don’t feel like sitting outside of the boarding gate where there are huge crowds in the area.
We stumbled upon Plaza Premium Lounge] gateway@klia2], which is on Level 2M of KLIA2, beside @myaerotel ✈️
Due to the pandemic, we had the entire lounge to ourselves. We were welcomed by the receptionist and he guided us on how to order the foods (it was ala carte, as compared to pre-pandemic times where buffet was served). Ordering of the food must be done via Google forms, which can be reached through a simple QR scan on the table.
There were several main courses offered, and we decided to go for an omelette with mushroom and cheese, sweet and sour chicken rice, as well as vegetarian aglio olio.
Each set comes with a choice of Coffee/Tea, carbonated drinks or alcohol (beer). The main course was served in a tray accompanied by 2 pieces of cookies and a bowl of barley ginkgo soup😋
The food was simple and delicious. Each person is allowed up to 3 sets of main courses 🤯 TBH for the price I felt it was worthwhile because you would get food around the same price in KLIA2 anyways 😂
As for the facilities, there are sofas, free Wi-Fi, as well as charging points. Toilet is also available but there’s no shower facilities on offer.
