rks. The duo consists of Chicago born, Raphael DeGiorgio and Detroit born, Terry Dexter. As individuals they both have extensive experience and are well respected in the music industry. Raphael has produced and written music for many sides of entertainment media for companies such as Paramount Studios, NBC, ABC, CBS, Sony Music, Warner Chappell, MTV, and Columbia Tristar to name a few. Terry has written and created music with and for artists such as “Will.i.am, Patti Labelle, George Duke, Roy Davis Jr” and for entertainment companies such as NBC, BET, Screen Gems, ABC, Showtime, Warner Bros, A&M, EMI and more. Raphael coming from a strong rock and jazz background and Terry who is more established in R&B/Soul and electronica have merged their talents and found a compelling common ground creating music in many genres including “Pop, Country, Rock, Alternative, Soul and Jazz- Electro- Fusion”. D&D SoundWorks was formed on the foundation that, “Authentic music transcends all boundaries and is timeless”. Their signature sound is a competitive force amongst today’s current music trends and stands apart with powerful story telling lyrical and melodic songs accompanied by innovative and rich musical production and arrangements. They believe in the concept of having a strong “Voice”. Voice defined by “vision, message and sound” that supports a story in Film, TV, Commercials or the expression of a music artist. D&D SoundWorks focus is to assist an artist in discovering and developing their signature sound, ranging from connecting tailor made records for some artists, to in house studio creative development which includes expert song and vocal production, growth and guidance for other artists. In the music atmosphere of today the world has shown a hunger for true musicianship again. This is evident with a wide spectrum of mainstream artists in the Pop world reverting back to vintage sounds from the 60’s and 70’s when music was raw and real. It is now coming full circle with a fast progressing music movement allowing core musicianship to shine and lead the way once again.
