It is an online and offline international traveling forum that encourages UI community members to share their traveling experiences and inspire and attract fellow students to embrace, explore and understand international cultures. We believe that using diversity to create values and solutions is the best way to promote inter-group relations. Therefore, we plan to create a social media campaign on
Facebook that encourages people to post and share their traveling experiences and stories. AiCheng and their
The Traveler’s Nest Project
collaborators will pick three to five of the best posts based on their popularity, diversity, and feasibility. Later, we will invite the winners to present their story at our offline form to share the fine points of their traveling experience. This will educate audience members about cultures other than their own and give them the option of branching out. Afterward, they will help attendees, those who have plans to travel abroad, match up with cultural ambassadors from their traveling destinations. Lastly, we will select and organize the final inspiring ideas and stories to produce a creative periodical magazine that distributes online and offline that shares valuable international traveling guides, cross-cultural experiences and promotes diversity as a core value.
